Seaspray Australian Labradoodles

I've been meaning to write you everyday since we brought Teddy home...to say Thank You again. Teddy is such a joy! What a loving, smart, eager to please, bundle of cuddly joy! Your great training got us all off to a great start. And what a quick, adaptable puppy. She can already ride in either car - and load up. She is a great walker...just as you said. Yesterday we walked over our 1 mile span bridge into downtown Sarasota...and she had no problem. The bridge goes uphill...spans the beautiful water below...and even with a sweet wind and traffic she was unflappable. Then she walked through the art fair with hundreds of dogs and people...being adored all the way...and sat under our table for lunch (next to huge hounds on either side.)
The only peep out of her was a quick bark when the musician began to sing...and that was it. (She very rarely barks.) Then she had to walk back, of course...after a snooze in the park.
She follows Andy everywhere...or me if he isn't home. They cuddle, play, and adore each other. We do let her come on our bed to frolic...but then she stays in her place next to us on the floor if we are watching TV. Night-time is going better...meaning she only whimpers a little when she goes in her crate which is in Andy's Teddy Roosevelt office nearby. They hang out there a lot.
Yesterday, I laughed out loud when I walked in the kitchen. Andy was on all fours...pretending to eat out of the dog dish...with Teddy right next to him. And sure enough...Teddy ate.
Just wanted to give you a few details so you could see how wonderfully she has adapted. You made a perfect selection for us.
If you have extra business cards...do send us a handful. Everyday 3-5 people ask us for information about where we got her. Teddy is a walking advertisement for SeaSpray!
With gratitude,
Ruthie

Dear Seaspray,
I just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying Harley. He has quickly become one of the family and even my husband is smitten with him! I truly believe that all the stimulation Seaspray did with the puppies from the day they were born until I took Harley home at 8 weeks has made a tremendous impact on his personality and behavior. He has been easy to work with, for example, I have to wipe his feet every morning after taking him out, and he was so used to being handled, I did not have to “teach” him to do this, it just seemed as though he understood it was what had to be done! And the “sit” whenever a gate is opened, definitely carried over into our house. He knew to sit when we just placed a hand on the gate handle and did not rush out as the door was being opened. This is both with the gates in the kitchen and his crate. I truly appreciate all the pointers Seaspray gave me to teach Harley to walk on the leash, come when called, sit, and lie down. Even though I read the books, it just seemed to make more sense with her assistance. And I do feel comfortable about calling whenever I have a question.
I have told so many people about Seaspray Australian Labradoodles Kennel that I know they are tired of hearing me go on and on. I can’t say enough about how much you all care about the puppies from the time before they are even conceived to the time they go home, and even after they are placed. I am so grateful I found your Kennel and met all of you. And I can’t even begin to tell you how much we love Harley. He is such a dream! Thank you so very much.

I have wanted to write you both over the past three months, but glad I have waited. I thought my Lab was the "perfect " dog. Now it is indisputably Lil Pips, or Pippen, now 5 and a half months old.
My heart is bursting with love and satisfaction with this incredible pup. She is cuddly, snuggly, extremely smart and bright, great fun to play with, and very satisfying in training. She fetches almost perfectly, fetches in the gulf waters, can swim back to shore on her own, and is learning a "whistle" come from afar! Yet she will sit in my lap quietly and comfortably while I pat and stroke her. She is a LOVE!
I am so very happy with her!! She has met all my expectations, and even size seems to indicate 20 pounds on the scale at maturity. As I have purchased in a retirement home that allows dogs at 20 pounds or less, this was very important tp me. Have trimmed her coat, and what is there is very nice and curly which I hope will stay. Need some more practice on the grooming process, but have a professional who is helping with her face and feet.
I was terrified of my plane flight back North but it went just perfectly yesterday. Thanks Leslie, for referring the Sturdi"collapsible" carrier, though I did not even need the collapsible part on Jet Blue. Only problem I had was that
she did not want to get out at the airport where I needed to carry her through the inspection station! She was amazing and waited quietly the full 5-6 hours until we could let her out for a walk.
She is so happy here on Cape Cod, perhaps due to the cooler, damper weather compared with Florida. Has been so very active today running everywhere, and has now totally collapsed into an exhausted state! Lovely to see.
I am so very sorry that Calli and Russ Tee only had one pup. If any of the other 8 from her first litter are anything like Pippen, it is a very good combination. I hope it will work in the future.
Thanks to you both. I believe you do a great job, and certainly help your future owners with any and all questions.
I am most satisfied with my choice of Pippen. Pam ., Sanibel.. Florida and Chatham, Ma

It is my pleasure to recommend Seaspray / True Blue Labradoodles to anyone searching for a wonderful Australian Labradoodle.
I started out several months ago not knowing much about Labradoodles. I did all of the usual things to try and research – google, phone calls etc – and finally stumbled on Peggy and Leslie. Leslie spent about an hour on the phone with me initially, and in that hour I learned more about Australian Labradoodles than I did in all of the time put in beforehand. We went to “Doodle Day”, and we were hooked.
There isn’t a big thing that I can point to, it is the sum of all of the valuable little things that made the experience with Seaspray / True Blue great: constant phone contact when needed, helpful advice, regular updates on the website and email about litters / puppies, videos and pictures, “Doodle Day” experience, top notch health and safety for the dogs, visitation throughout the puppies first eight weeks, early training (my puppy was sitting on command at 8 weeks), and most of all – a well adjusted, mostly housebroken, happy, healthy puppy. We did not pay for additional training. Our puppy was already advanced due to the time that was spent with the litter during their first 8 weeks.
Bella is a wonderful addition to our family. There isn’t a moment of regret that we fought past our “sticker shock” when we first heard the cost, trusted the process, and decided on Seaspray / True Blue. I now know what all other Seaspray / True Blue customers know – that there really could not be a better choice if you are looking for a Labradoodle. They consider their dogs as part of their family, and their main concern is adding the right fit to your family.
After your first call to Peggy and Leslie, you might as well start the timer, because it is only a matter of time until you own a Seaspray Australian Labradoodle.

I apologize for taking so long to get back to you! I wanted to send you a quick note and tell you how much we LOVE Bella, she is fitting in perfectly with our family! We are amazed every day at how smart she is and have been having a blast watching her learn new things!! Gavin & Peyton are having so much fun running around the yard and playing chase & soccer with Bella! Murphy our cat is keeping her distance but on occasion when they come face to face it has been without incident! She has gotten lots of baths since we’ve had her as she likes to dig in the mud! Bella has slept through the night since the first day we’ve had her, she loves her crate and goes in daily for nap time! Bella definitely loves all of us but Bill says she is a momma’s girl, she follows me around the house and when I sit down she lays on my feet. She has already been to the boy’s school and met all the kids and has done great visiting her new veterinarian! Bella is doing great with potty training and occasionally will scratch on the back door and whine to let us know she needs to go out, she did this at only 9wks old! We really try to stay on top of taking her out regularly and it seems to be working, along with some yummy treats afterwards!! We just want to say thank you again for breeding & picking the perfect puppy for our family, this has been the best experience and we cannot believe how wonderful she really is!!! I have attached some photos!!
Sincerely,
Jan, Bill, Gavin, Peyton, Murphy, the cat & Bella
